  3. VPL Jams with JOEREYNA

    August 13, 2021, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Victoria Public Library

    VPL JAMS is a monthly music series that highlights the local Crossroads music scene. JOEREYNA is a third generation musician, musically active for thirty years. Brother of local drum legend Alfie Reyna. A lifelong member of the band Purplekush. His songs have recently been included in documentaries made in New York City, by Antagonist Movement co-founder Ethan Minskers, such as Man in Camo, Self Medicated: His music is also featured in the film An American in Texas, filmed in Victoria, Texas by local filmmaker Anthony Pedone. JOEREYNA’S songs have also been featured in local artist and visionary Don Avlo films made in Victoria, Texas. JOEREYNA currently heads the local community radio station KVLJ 99.5 FM, which broadcasts local songwriters. His show The JOEREYNA MUSICAST AIRS 10 PM, Saturday nights.
