Five City of Victoria employees completed the Texas Municipal League’s Leadership Academy April 12-14 and May 17-19 in Georgetown. The leadership academy is divided into two courses: “Personal Leadership Effectiveness” and “Ethical and Influential Leadership.” Attendees assessed their unique leadership and communication styles; practiced negotiation and conflict resolution for strategic influence; and improved key skills such as ethical leadership, conflict resolution and team-building.
