Residents will be able to learn more about proposed changes to Victoria Transit, ask questions and provide feedback during a series of come-and-go meetings hosted by the City of Victoria, the Victoria Metropolitan Planning Organization and the Golden Crescent Regional Planning Commission.
The Golden Crescent Regional Planning Commission, which operates Victoria Transit on the City’s behalf, is proposing the creation of new routes that will expand the coverage area for transit services while helping residents get to their destinations more quickly.
Meetings will be held at the following times and locations:
- Nov. 17, 3-5 p.m. at the Community Center Annex, 2905 E. North St.
- Nov. 20, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Victoria Public Library, 302 N. Main St.
Residents can also provide feedback by visiting www.victoriatx.gov/transitplan and filling out a survey or commenting on the interactive map. The deadline to provide feedback in this manner is Nov. 14.
The new routes are expected to be implemented in 2026.
