Since 1984 National Night Out has been enhancing relationships between the community and law enforcement while providing a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
Neighborhoods across the nation host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and other various community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel and exhibits.

On Tuesday, October 3, 2023 between 6 pm and 9 pm, residents of Victoria are asked to lock their doors, turn on porch lights and spend the evening outside with neighbors. Simply knowing your neighbors is one of the most effective methods to prevent crime. Police and Fire Department personnel will stop by to visit with many of the residents whose parties are registered with the Police Department.
